Mahshahr Pipe Company has one of the most equipped laboratories in the country, which was established in 1389 by the German Steiner Company under the supervision of the German Salzgieter Company in the factory of this company.
The laboratory of this company has up-to-date equipment to perform all tests related to production pipes in accordance with the current standards of the world and the country, such as APL5L, NACE, DNV, IPS, IGS, etc.
  INSO-ISO/IEC 17025, as a reference laboratory in the country, in addition to conducting internal tests, also provides laboratory services to other customers and stakeholders.

All tests related to chemical analysis and metallography, mechanical properties, including tensile tests up to 150 tons, impact up to 450 joules, hardness testing, quantometry, bending up to 30 tons, free fall of weights up to 35,000 joules, MT and radiography along with testing HIC and SSCC corrosion tests are carried out according to the methods and standards of the world in this reference laboratory of the country and approved by employers and stakeholders.]]> Mahshahr Pipe Manufacturing Company operates one of the most advanced laboratories in Iran.
In addition, to conduct corrosion tests on sour-service fluid transmission pipes, specialized equipment was supplied and installed at the company’s factory site in 2010 (1389) by Steiner and Salzgitter companies from Germany.

The company’s laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art instruments to perform all necessary tests related to pipe production in accordance with international and national standards such as API 5L, NACE, DNV, IPS, IGS, and others.
With certification under INSO–ISO/IEC 17025, this laboratory is recognized as a national reference laboratory, providing testing services not only for internal quality control but also for external clients and stakeholders.

In this national reference laboratory, all tests related to chemical analysis, metallography, and mechanical properties are conducted, including:

  • Tensile tests up to 150 tons

  • Impact tests up to 450 joules

  • Hardness testing

  • Quantometric analysis

  • Bend tests up to 30 tons

  • Drop weight tests up to 35,000 joules

  • MT and Radiographic testing along with HIC and SSCC corrosion tests

All tests are carried out in accordance with international methods and standards, approved by relevant clients and stakeholders.
